Gustavo Rattes de Castro is a businessman and rural producer (beef cattle, sugar and ethanol and grains), Chairman of the Board of ORPLANA (Organization of Sugarcane Producers’ Associations of Brazil), Fiscal and Advisory Board Member of APMP BIOENERGIA (Association of Producers of Raw Materials for the Bioenergy Industries of Goiás), Board Member of CONSECANA (Council of Sugarcane, Sugar and Ethanol Producers of the State of São Paulo).

He has a degree in Zootechnics and a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management.
