He began his career in the sugar-energy sector at Nova Trading (Grupo Nova América) in 2000.

He worked for 8 years at Czarnikow and at the end of 2009 moved to Noble Group, which was later bought by COFCO.

He is the Head of the Sugar Trading division at COFCO International Brazil, responsible for the origination of Brazilian sugar, including marketing, logistics and financial operations.

Graduated in International Relations with an MBA in Marketing.
