Márcio de Lima Leite took over the presidency of ANFAVEA on May 2, 2022. He is Stellantis’ Vice-President of Legal, Tax and Institutional Relations for South America. He has worked for the group since 2000. In addition, he is General Counsel and Head of Tax in the South American region. He serves on the Supervisory Boards of Banco Fidis, Fundação Stellantis Saúde and IMPP – Instituto Minas Pela Paz.

He has a degree in Law and Accounting, a master’s degree in Business Law and a postgraduate degree in Strategic Management with a specialization in Finance from UFMG. Guest lecturer at PUCMINAS for the LLM postgraduate course in Tax Law. He is a former undergraduate lecturer at UFMG and PUCMINAS and on the postgraduate course at Fundação Dom Cabral.

He is also a member of the Audit Committee of CEMIG – Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais – and a Board Member and Coordinator of the Audit Committee of COPASA – Companhia de Saneamento de Minas Gerais. He is the coordinator of the Minas Gerais Chapter of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC).

He worked as an independent auditor at KPMG, Deloitte Touche Thomatsu and Soltz Matoso e Mendes for 9 years. Certified by IBGC, the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance, as a Fiscal Councilor.
