Born in Paranavai (PR). He has a degree in Agronomic Engineering and a post-graduate degree in Commodities Trading from CEPEA, USP.
He has worked in the sugar-energy sector for 22 years. He is a partner in the Nova Produtiva Agroindustrial Cooperative, based in Astorga (PR). He is currently CEO of Alcopar (Association of Bioenergy Producers of the State of Paraná).
