Guilherme Cavalcanti has solid experience in public management, entrepreneurship and advocacy. He has a degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Pernambuco (Unicap), with a specialization in Finance from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). He obtained further training in the areas of corporate governance from the IBGC, public finance from the World Bank, urban development from the Gehl Architects Institute and early childhood policies from Harvard University. He was executive director of the Atitude Pernambuco business movement for three years. He was also co-founder and CEO of the Recife Agency for Innovation and Strategy (ARIES), CEO of Companhia de Participações do Centro de Estudos e Sistemas Avançados do Recife (CESAR) and president of the Pernambuco Economic Development Agency (Adepe). Guilherme is 46 years old, has been married for 18 years and has three children.
