Marcelo Eskenazi has a degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and worked in the Industrial Automation sector with a focus on the Oil & Gas and Mining industries and in the Aerospace and Systems sectors for approximately 30 years before joining São Martinho.

In recent years he has worked in the Embraer group as technology director of Embraer Sistemas, business director for the corporate market and member of the Advisory Boards of the Aerospace Fund’s investees.

In 2021, he began his role as New Business Advisor at São Martinho, working to explore and open potential new businesses in the company that maximize the value of our Renewable Carbon.

He also represents São Martinho on the Business Council of PUC Campinas, on the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Bioinnovation Association and on the Business Council of the MetaIndústria Hub with the Brazilian Industrial Development Agency.
