Silvia M Yokoyama has a degree in Food Engineering from Unicamp and a master’s degree in Agribusiness from FGV-Agro.

She actively participated in the introduction of agricultural biotechnology in Brazil, working for the last 20 years in companies such as Monsanto and Dow AgroSciences.

He is currently responsible for Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs at the CTC-Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira, having approved the first genetically modified canes to be commercialized in Brazil and globally.
