Mechanical Engineer from the Federal University of Brasilia. Specialization in Public Policy and Government Management at the National School of Public Administration. Specialist in Political Science from the Federal University of Brasilia. MBA in Oil and Gas Business Management at the Brazilian Institute of Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels.
He is a member of the career of Specialists in Public Policy and Government Management of the Federal Government since 2004 and General Coordinator of Ethanol at the Ministry of Mines and Energy since 2005.
In 2014, he coordinated the High Ethanol Mixture Studies Testing Program with Petrobras, the National Association of Automotive Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA) and the Brazilian Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (ABRACICLO).
In 2018, he coordinated the elaboration of the Economic Model for the definition of the goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the RenovaBio Committee, within the scope of this Program.
He is currently Deputy Director of the Biofuels Department.
