Francis is Executive Vice President of EAB (Ethanol, Sugar and Bioenergy) at Raízen. Graduated in Electrical Engineering from Escola Politécnica , at Universidade de São Paulo, he worked at Accenture do Brasil before assuming the position of CIO of Grupo Cosan in 2008. At the company, in 2010, he worked as Executive Director responsible for the Shared Services Center.

After the joint venture between Shell and Cosan, in 2011, Francis took over the management of Raízen’s Shared Services Center. In 2017, he became Vice President of EAB Operations. The following year, he became Executive Vice-President of EAB.

 

Francis is committed with the production of clean and renewable energy and believes that Raizen will play a leading role in the global energy transition. To reach that goal, he coordinates a staff of around 30,000 employees distributed across 35 bioenergy parks and 1.3 million hectares of agricultural areas.
