Superintendent Director of the União Brasileira do Biodiesel e Bioquerosene (Ubrabio), where he has been active since the organization’s founding in 2007.

Member of the Advisory Committee of the MCTI-EMBRAPII Network for Innovation in Bioeconomy, Partner-Director of Lkt Consultores, and President of the Board of the Brazilian Agency for Environmental and Information Technology – ECODATA. He is a rural producer and bioeconomy consultant.

He was President of the Sectoral Chamber of the Oilseed and Biodiesel Production Chain at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock – MAPA.

In the 1990s, he was Chief of Staff for Ministers of Justice, Agriculture and Land Reform, and the Special Secretariat for Regional Policies of the Presidency of the Republic. He served as a technical advisor in the Federal Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. He was Director of Settlement at the National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform – INCRA. He also served as Secretary of State for the Surrounding Area and as Representative of the State of Goiás to the Federal Government. He was the first Executive Secretary of the Integrated Development Region of the Federal District and Surrounding Areas – RIDE/DF.

He has been a member of the National Environmental Council – CONAMA and the National Water Resources Council – CNRH.
