Daniel Maia Vieira holds a postgraduate degree in Audit Regulation – Instituto Serzedello Corrêa /TCU (2010) and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations – University of Brasília (UnB, 2005). He has been participating in courses and lectures related to infrastructure, privatizations, concessions, and public-private partnerships.  Professionally, he worked as a finance and control analyst of the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU) between 2006 and 2008. Between 2008 to 2022, he worked as Federal Auditor of External Control of the Brazilian Supreme Audit Institution (TCU), acting in privatization and regulation.  Since April 2022 he has been acting as ANP Director.
